Administration argues against reuniting families, saying it would be “traumatic” for the children.

The Administration filed court papers last week arguing that it should not be required to reunify families because it would be “traumatic” to take the children out of their current foster settings. This effort to cast their position in the light of “what’s best for the children” comes on the heels of their admission that they didn’t keep records of where separated family members were going, and which children were related to which parents.
